Helping Hands Child Development Centre was established on 4th June 2022 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh by Dr. Shreyasee Pandya (B.OTh, Pediatric Occupational Therapist), and later joined by Dr. Priyanka Misra (B.ASLP, M.ASLP – Mumbai), Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist. Both bring over 17 years of professional experience in their respective fields, making the centre a trusted space for children with developmental needs. Dr. Shreyasee Pandya began her career in Mumbai, where she gained extensive expertise in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and learning disorders such as dyslexia.

The centre emphasizes detailed assessments as the foundation of care, ensuring that every child’s strengths and challenges are carefully understood before designing individualized intervention plans. Services include occupational therapy to enhance motor skills, sensory integration, and independence in daily living; speech therapy to support communication and language development; and special education to provide structured learning tailored to each child’s abilities. These therapies are delivered in a child friendly environment where play and creativity are central, and families are engaged as active partners to ensure progress continues beyond the clinic.

Recognizing the importance of continuity at home, Helping Hands also provides home plans for children with special needs, equipping parents with strategies to reinforce skills in everyday routines.
